Haven’t heard about COVID tongue before, but the shingles+flu combo I caught this past fall left me with dermatographic hives that only just stopped around 3 weeks ago. Would randomly come up, usually across arms, hands, chest, neck, face and all over my scalp. Itched like hell and if I scratched anything, would leave raised welts all over my skin. Have never had that before and it went on for at least two months.

Sounds awful, and scary! A few months after I had covid my hair started falling out, ALOT. It finally stopped, but yikes.

Auto-immune reaction along the lines of myalgia.
No treatment.
She hates the welts because a “soft scratch” doesn’t help. Stiff instruments are needed to end the “itch” and those raise the welts.
My wife (nee girlfriend) owned 2 Mazda RX3.
Wankel rotary engine had tons of high-end torque (no power loss in conversion of linear-to-rotational force).
It backfired...a lot.
