With satellite technology, I'm wondering what advantage is gained by this lower level balloon Gordon Chang saying China is preparing for war. The balloon operation was to test US resolve in dealing with it and showing the world the we are weak and indecisive. Telling other nations not to cooperate with us as we are not trustworthy as allies.
He said they are engaged in the fastest military buildup since the second world war. They are preparing Chinese civilians for battle. Also Xi is facing many domestic problems such as protests, Covid, food shortages, etc....he could use a distraction.
Chang referred to a leaked memo from General Mike Minehan chief of AF Air Mobility Command, stating that "his gut tells him we're going to be fighting with China in 2025".

Remember a long time ago when we talked about books or other entertainments that we might put aside for times when the Internet/FR was disrupted? With the constant rain of MSM lies and the circus in the White House (set) and the COVID 'vaccine' & Ukrainian shilling, I'm thinking I need to make an active effort to entertain my mind and distract it now and then. This circus is unbelievably disgusting.
I may start reading the Shackleton book I set aside, and look for a replacement to stash while I'm at it.

This person states it well. My opinion is that this is simply China saying "We own your government" (literally). "And you can't do anything about it." It is blatant flaunting by the enemy/occupying power.

Notice that the image was originally posted almost a year prior to Trump re truthing it - and the users name ends as ULTRA2QQQ, a fact that couldn't be unnoticed by Trump. Then the fact that it was originally posted on March 15, 2022

"Loon LLC was an Alphabet Inc. subsidiary working on providing Internet access to rural and remote areas. The company used high-altitude balloons in the stratosphere at an altitude of 18 km (11 mi) to 25 km (16 mi) to create an aerial wireless network with up to 1 Mbit/s speeds.[1][2][3][4] A reference to the balloons used,[1] Project Loon began as a research and development project by X (formerly Google X) in 2011, but later spun out into a separate company in July 2018.[5] In January 2021, it was announced that the company would be shut down due to lack of profitability.[6][7][8][9]"
The balloons were maneuvered by adjusting their altitude in the stratosphere to float to a wind layer after identifying the wind layer with the desired speed and direction using wind data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Users of the service connected to the balloon network using a special Internet antenna attached to their building. The signal travelled through the balloon network from balloon to balloon, then to a ground-based station connected to an Internet service provider (ISP), then into the global Internet."
In 2008, Google considered contracting with or acquiring Space Data Corp,[10] a company that sends balloons carrying small base stations about 20 mi (32 km) up in the air for providing connectivity to truckers and oil companies in the southern United States, but didn't do so.[11]
