I honestly don’t remember much about Salem’s Lot, just that all my family including me (youngest) was glued to it. We had to watch the ending parts in our Waldorf room in NYC, as we went up there for the start of the holiday season after Thanksgiving.

I was just talking about that show a few days ago here on this forum.

"James At 15" came out in 1977 just as I was turning 15. The show was also filmed in Boston, where I lived at the time. So it instantly became one of my favorite shows.

Only lasted two years though. It became "James at 16" a year later but I guess "James at 17" was not to be.

I remember him from a TV movie, “The Greatest Gift,” with Glenn Ford, and the series that spun off from that, “The Family Holvak.”

Oh wow, I loved that James at 15 (then 16) show back in the 70s when I was a wee lad. Great show, from what I remember.

"James at 15" was filmed on location in Boston. I remember seeing the film crews around town when I was growing up there in the 1970s. For the second season, the show was renamed "James at 16" and it did not get quite the traction as James was getting naughtier.

Terri Nunn did an episode in which she played a "loose" girl that all the other classmates claimed to have slept with. So when James started dating her, all the other guys were needling him.

"You Make Loving Fun" by Fleetwood Mac was featured on that episode. This was the fall of 1977 when the "Rumours" album by Fleetwood Mac was still riding high in the charts.

Terri Nunn went on to be the lead singer of Berlin, a popular New Wave band from the early 1980s. I saw this band at the US Festival in 1983. That was another connection I have with the "James At 15" show.

That was Dan Wakefield’s series. He died at 91 in 2024. Sad that the kids are dying and at younger ages. Kerwin, like so many other child stars, had drug problems when he was young. He seems to have straightened out since then.
