I had 4 beefy firemen doing mine just like him. They are trained not to break ribs.

Actually ACLS training is if you don’t feel a few ribs breaking you are doing it wrong. Broken ribs are usually a part of cpr although on someone young with good bone density they may not break. Usually those that survive resuscitation the biggest complaint is chest wall pain from the cpr. It is not a gentle process
