Very cool find, thanks for posting it. Wme and brother were caretakers on a bison ranch. The owner would come up on weekends, and me and brother woild take care of the animals during the week. They are a massive beast, and capable of incredible speed and agiltiy for such a big animal. I can’t Imagine how massive and powerful the ancient ones must have been up close and personal. The bull in the Herd we took care of would toss a large hay feeder tacked to a trailer that was longer than a car around d like a toy. So much power.

The Army kept a herd at Fort Riley, north of Funston, for many years. We were driving some Duece-N-Half multipurpose trucks up there to set up some field exercise camps and the buffalo would charge the trucks. Very aggressive and not afraid of anything.
