Their routine was Diamond did all the talking and Silk interjected with "that's right" and "uh-huh."

At the service, Silk showed that she was just as feisty as her sister.

It's like when watching Abbott and Costello, and then later finding out that Costello was the brains of the group.

I'm not saying that Silk was the "brains of the group," but she's clearly not a simpleton sidekick.

Thanks so much for sharing that with me.   On such a sad occasion, that truly was very beautiful.   (I think I saw Silk singing along with that gospel ensemble there a few times.   She also sang a few bars during her eulogy,   I bet she sings in church, or somewhere, from time to time anyway.   I didn't notice the President singing, but he did look like he was really getting into and enjoying the music.)

Like you, I hope something or someone causes Trump to reassess that whole covid issue.  Too many people are leaving us too soon.

More likely he was trying to distance himself from her because she was slyly but clearly calling out the killer shots.

She was wise and clever in how she handled it. She got the important information and plea out, even giving some more details than people might have expected re: the actual circumstances, but didn’t make herself an easy target for the misinformation naysayers.
