Disturbing footage posted online documents the moment an Ohio cop punches a woman multiple times in her face as she is being detained.
The video, which was originally posted Tuesday night by Dayton 24/7 Now, shows a Butler Township police officer pummeling Latinka Hancock on January 16 and apparently putting her in a chokehold.
Hancock was reportedly sent to the hospital in the aftermath, where she was diagnosed with a head injury.
The incident apparently came after Hancock got into a heated argument with McDonald's employees because she ordered a Big Mac with extra cheese but was handed a regular Big Mac.
Authorities released body camera footage showing Hancock apparently cooperating with authorities before they punched her.
The department will now continue to investigate the police officer's actions, who is now on administrative leave as her attorneys call for him to be fired.
A one-minute video of the altercation shows cops dragging Hancock by her arms as she tries to wrestle herself free.
She then appears to get into an argument with the officers at the scene, waving her hand around as she speaks to them.

Not everything needs to lead to an arrest. Tell her to go home and be done with it. Now his career is over.
Donuts? Yes. McDonalds? No!
Chokehold is against most department’s policy these days.
“Not everything needs to lead to an arrest. Tell her to go home and be done with it. Now his career is over.”
I agree! What is wrong with these modern cops? They have a hot iron up their ass or something? Unless she’s done a crime tell her to go home.
Lol, extra cheese on her Big Mac.
If she paid for it, she has a right to expect it.
By Wednesday afternoon, the police department released body camera footage showing cops talking to Hancock prior to the fight.
They say she was at first cooperating with law enforcement, WDTN reports, but then refused to provide her name and was arrested for resisting arrest.
The sergeant involved has since been put on paid administrative leave.
I know that wouldn’t happen with my police force. Such a person can expect to face charges and be gone. The policy of my force is proportional force +1.
This animal is as big and large as the two policemen. Refused to give her name. Was resisting arrest. She is used to throwing her weight around.
Blacks are too emotionally invested in the “food” they buy at MacDonald’s. Too much marijuana smoking too.
If that's all that happened then it's not a crime and she's not legally obligated to produce ID.
That's usually when a situation escalates and the suspect is now at the mercy of the cops and charged with resisting arrest.
You then ask yourself if it’s worth pursuing. If you don’t to sit in court over a big mac for the next two weeks, you send her home. If she has done something, she will get picked up later for it.
As the police chief said in the press conference, “the video does not look good!”
It appears that this officer has anger management issues.
Maybe he’s sick and tired of being called to Mack Donald’s every time a black person raises hell about a slice of cheese or a French fry. Going to Mack Donald’s is as dangerous as a Carnival Cruise. 50 years ago women acted like ladies.
I support the blue, but not blindly. This appears to cross the line of excessive force. Most likely, she just got a disability check for life, compliments of the Township.
*sigh* Another DinduNuffin is about to win the Lawsuit Lottery.
He was making cheese inside her mouth.
What if she refuses to leave?
If so, then she gets arrested. Bet that is what she did. She refused to leave without her Big Mac.
There is a point at which the Big Mac without extra cheese is not worth it. If a business is calling the police because you are acting like a dangerous fool to the staff, maybe you are the problem here.
I cannot imagine a McDonald’s refusing to remake your Big Mac. Seriously.
Did the cop lose his control? Yeah, might sure look like it. But, also back it up a bit and what was this crazy fool doing moments before? Acting so badly that the cops get called on her fool behind.
Was in Atlanta for business for three weeks and in a pinch went into a Burger King. An all Amish crew did manage to get my order out despite what felt like chaos to me...the counter person on her cell phone while taking my order and all the yelling between the other employees. It kind of creeped me out. Maybe thats just the Amish version of fastfood customer service? Good thing I suspect, that I didnt need to use the restroom while there.
You give her the opportunity. If she doesn’t she’s made her choice. But 99% of people do choose to leave if you give them the opportunity to do if you reason with them a little bit. I have had to deal with these kinds of situations myself and most can be talked down if you take a bit of time to do so.
When people lose their minds over inconsequential things, it’s usually not the inconsequential itself that is setting them off but the accumulation of many inconsequential things and what they are losing their minds is just the last one they could put up with.
