I think our fight is not with the "Left" per se, but with the class of people who want to use government power, aided by Big Tech and Media complicity, to totally control/imprison the "Masses" (i.e., the rest of us).
The standard plan is that the "Insiders" are exempt from the laws and regulations they make, and most of the taxes. If that results in depopulation, all the better. (Taxes and repression are good, because they do not apply to them. All they have to worry about is that the People will dust off the guillotines.)
For the most part, the "Left" are either profiting from their involvement in government or blissfully ignorant of the true agenda.
I think I am starting to see ridicule against this ridiculous state of affairs; for example, the billionaires flying private jets to Davos so they can force the rest of us to stop using energy, the lifeblood of every economy since the Agricultural and Industrial Revolutions.
Unless you are not considering the ChiComs as "the Left" we are very much in conflict with them.
They have purchased, infiltrated, cajoled and bribed their way deep into both our public and private infrastructures.
Every democRAT might just as well be sporting a Chinese Flag on their lapel, and most RINOs as well.
