Greetings, y’all!
IN, and special thanks, as always, to RN who keeps this all going!
you may. (or may not) have noticed that I’ve been away a good amount lately. The reason? burnout. I’m getting some mental time-out.
I took up a new hobby, astronomy. It’s, well, it takes up a good deal of time and mental capacity, but it also serves as a diversion. I’m not going away, mind you, but I’ve deliberately created a diversion to maintain some semblance of sanity.
Y’all, it’s ok to take a break now and then. It’s unfolding, and we’re witnessing some of the most significant times in human history. Not THE most significant, but among them.

Enjoy yourself!

Sometimes life happens, much illness in the family, multiple viruses that seem much harder to kick since the COVID especially among the little ones. Family members with various cancers to be concerned and pray for as well. As always 1st things 1st and always to be laid at the foot of the cross remembering the Great Physician Jesus Christ is able to take care of all our needs all the time.
Meanwhile continue to red pill where possible as well as balancing this with “going Galt”. Faith, Family, Freedom. We are to be in the world not of it, we must live within the system ( render unto Caesar) while always keeping perspective and respect for the things that belong to God.
And to quote the apostle Paul, “ pray without ceasing”. If I want to scream about it it is time to pray about it!

Good to see you! Yes, burnout is a real thing. If I focus too much on the dark news, affects spirits and my bp. Need to absorb one’s mind in other pursuits, astronomy sounds good! My father used to take me and my sister up on a nearby tower (wood, not too tall) or open fields to look at the star and taught us constellations. I’ve loved looking at the black sky decorated with stars ever since.
