Goose slide continued -
And, somewhere on the thread, I saw someone expressing concern about having geese flying overhead defecate on him. Not going to happen. Nature provides for birds to lighten the load prior to take-off, so a bird already up in the sky will not need to defecate.

Tell that to my hair. I’ve had bird droppings land on my head twice on the golf course - no trees around, just a flyer over my head. The first one landed on the right side of my head and splashed into my ear, The second time, it landed towards the front of my head and splashed/dripped down my forehead. Both were white/brown/grey greasy messes and very hard to remove. My playing companions told me it was very good luck, but I didn’t feel very lucky and I hope I never get that lucky ever again. The strangest thing was that neither of the droppings smelled particularly bad.
Goose Slide
So sorry, LL. I guess you had an aberrant goose there. Perhaps he had been drinking. :) Or perhaps this goose was hired by Trudeau to send you a message.
BTW, Canada geese don’t take off from trees; they take off from the ground.
