Before I saw it, I thought maybe they hired a lousy sculptor such as the one who did the hideous statue of Lucille Ball. The writer claims that people who have seen the photo of the Kings would have a better idea of what the sculptor was “trying to accomplish”. Ummm, no. But any of the sometimes-maligned classical sculptors could have turned out something exquisite.
