I have no fear of public speaking....but nobody wants to hear what I have to say...:)
A good public speaker can capture and hold their audiences attention. An example is when Reagan would give speeches for GE years ago. If you can find some videos of that take a look. That is a perfect example of how to hold an audiences attention and how to communicate effectively.
Oh yeah, Obama is self-referential in the extreme. He relates everything to himself.
Yep
.....and when she CAN’Tanswer a question, the head goes down, looks at the book and proceeds to rapidly spew 😝word salad in a very rapid manner to finish her answer.
I love watching her for her mere incompetency....its fun to count the seconds when she launches into her
pausing, in fact one could make a
heck of drinking game of this 😆😆😆

Speaking of affirmative action hiring, who thinks the IRS is going to hire their new agents based on education and qualifications??? lol
Thats the one!
As a Toastmasters grammarian myself, she wouldn’t make it through one session of table topics without being gutted.
UH, he’s talking about Little Miss LGBTQWERTY+(B), right?
"The president has been very clear on this".
Life is too short to be counting uhs ers and ums from morons.

Have you ever listened to a professional athlete being interviewed?
I get embarrassed for them, from listening.
Biden is the true administration (from hell) grammarian.
I once had a presentation to an executive team for both my employer and one of our largest customers. It was to show them the results of a massive product anylysis project where I reviewed hundreds of products they stocked, both from us as a supplier and all other suppliers.
I started my presentation with “Unlike many people, I don’t usually get too nervous when doing public speaking. Today is an exception. (referring to the customer) I don’t know any of you yet I’m about to tell you how to run your business.”
It got the expected laugh, broke the ice and went very well from there.
I’ve gotten into the habit of counting “ya know” during conversations. I don’t think I have had a single instance when the phrase wasn’t used! Ya know?
That’s a good Icebreaker.
Humor, without it being too vague or too vulgar.
It’s like Hillary and Obama with their “you knows.”
Annoying.
Hey but lots of them gots college degrees...:) An old boss of mine was a college jock...dumb is being polite. But he got a degree...he got to be the boss because he outlasted everybody else. They moved on up and he stayed...:)
Is a Toastmaster different than others? And while we’re implying the existence of a quantifier, I suggest the next couple of steps with the phrase and a new word, more differenter than. ;)
Ask me a question, and suffer the rude beginning of my reply with the word, so, implying that you interrupted me.
