It sounds like their positions are useless. I’m remote, but I don’t need checking up on.
I design jobs alone. No me, no design. It’s all metric based with tolerance levels.
I think many corporate jobs are nonsense, just so they can hire minorities and skirts.
I knew a guy who’s company went on the “x number of steps a day” fitness trackers kick. Once a week he’d take it to Home Depot and put it in the paint shaker.
My job is remote. I tell them when I’m going to be out. They don’t care since I’m still available to clients.
Same here. If I’m “mouse-jiggling,” things will get held up or not done. It would be quite noticeable.
Sounds like some companies could save money by removing the “mouse jigglers” and replacing them with people who work.
