I’m a Henckels knife guy. We got a set for a wedding present from German friends of ours. That was 29 years ago and I still have them. I even added some over the years.

The one I still want to add is a Damascus steel knife.

Knife slide... I got sucked into Cutco. My friend’s daughter was selling them. They were sharp. Cut my finger so badly I needed a few stitches. I mean, I think I hit the blade.. I wasn’t even cutting, it was on a drying rack. The large vegetableish knife is so unbalanced it drives me nuts. Next time I sliced my finger, I superglued it.

Another knife the tip broke off cutting into a watermelon. I bought a knife sharpener, it said it was for serrated edges. Yeah, it takes them off 😂.

I think I want the Henkels that are self sharpening.

However, seriously, I hate cooking. I hate the smell of food cooking, I get sick of eating. I get tired of dinners.

My hubs has a microwave in the garage.. why? Because the smell of bacon disgusts me (I like eating it, I don’t want to smell it) and he loves brussel sprouts and I despise them, so bacon and brussel sprouts are done in the garage microwave. I’ll go out and open the garage door in 30’ to air it out lol.
