A Georgia woman has been charged with murder for allegedly killing an elderly married couple at a Florida senior living community on New Year’s Eve.
Vickie Williams, 50, appeared in court remotely Saturday and was ordered held in the Lake County Jail without bond for the killings of Darryl Getman, 83, and his 80-year-old wife, Shannon Getman in the Watertown Village retirement community in Mount Dora, reported the station KBTX.
Williams — who had already been charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle for allegedly stealing the victims’ car — faces two counts of first-degree murder.
More than a week after the slayings, police still have not disclosed how the Getmans died, and no motive has been released.
Investigators previously said the fatal attack appeared to be a random, “once-in-a-lifetime event,” and the suspect had no known ties to the area.

Remember—diversity is our strength—except when it gets you murdered.
Ya just never know these days. I’m sure that will be taken into consideration.
BLM was quick to condemn the black killer of the white couple...............(not really) Imagine if the races were reversed, the country would be in melt down again.
Their security shack requires your license and who you are visiting. I can’t believe they don’t have cameras. Maybe it isn’t secure??

One does tend to be fatally attacked only once in a lifetime.
Never heard of someone getting murdered twice.

Interesting article—it sounds like these metro Dallas senior living management companies were just “mailing it in” when it came to security—both in terms of hardware and employee performance.
Then the police botched a whole bunch of cases—some detectives should be fired for gross incompetence for sure.
For her victims, I suppose it was.
How did she escape from the DC zoo gorilla cage?
Even Lincoln wanted to send them back. Liberia was a good plan. Alas...
Sistuh-on-Cracka violence.

There needs to be an investigation about what security at the retirement community and the local PD knew about the perp.
