Why not just get a regular doc?
I send my doc an email saying I’m out of a prescription and that there are no more refills at the pharmacy. He sends the order to the pharmacy. No doctor cost to me. The only expense is the co-pay at the pharmacy.
Don’t you have a similar situation or arrangement?
Are you a veteran?
I have about the same situation. All I have needed is blood pressure meds for the last several years. Two years my “doctor” wouldn’t let me take off my mask or touch me when doing my “physical”. Every year he had me have blood drawn for to check out the same markers. And then he had me come in a week or two later and charged me for a second visit.
The office charged over twice what I could get the blood work done for myself at the same lab. So I had my blood drawn and tested ahead of time at the same lab and brought in the paperwork. He had a fit about this.
So last year I went back to the clinic that I had been going to. I paid a hundred dollars; a nurse practitioner saw me for about 10 minutes prescribed the same medicine and she didn’t care if I got blood work or not. I thought that I had saved myself a couple hundred dollars. A week later I got a bill for an additional $250 because the nurse practitioner charged for an hour of her time and they added a “new patient” fee even though none of my info had been changed during the two years that I hadn’t seen them. So, it cost me about the same but I didn’t get any blood work.
The medication costs about $80 a year but the completely worthless exams cost $200 - $350 and the blood work cost another $200 or so. I consider the blood work to be more valuable than the “doctors”.
Things have been tight so I do not currently have health insurance. So, I think that we are in the same boat.
Have you checked out Apple Cider Vinegar and/or Ceylon cinnamon?
I get my BP meds from Amazon.
How about your local town or county Health Department, in Mass they have some programs for those over a certain age. Also perhaps a local senior center ? Good luck.
I take it you do not have health insurance?
Those meds may require blood work. I’d be shocked if there was a way for someone to risk a malpractice suit just to write you a prescription.
There’s a show on Real America’s Voice, “Cowboy Logic”, and they advertise a medical group/person who will prescribe certain drugs. I can’t recall the name. Cowboy Logic replays probably can be seen at the RAV site.
Also, Live From Studio 6B also advertises a remote services for some meds. Again, I don’t know the name.
Depending upon the meds you can get some refilled at a
pharmacy without a prescription. ex. Walmart, grocery
chains, etc. Just a suggestion.
Why don’t you just go on line and purchase them through pharmacies in India, they have EVERYTHING except narcotics it will take approximately 3 weeks to get them!! The one I use all the time is called HappyFamilyStore just Google it!!!
Drink lots celery juice every day, don’t eat processed food, give up salt.
Or... go see a doc, lisinopril is cheap 10mg, then drink lots celery juice every day, don’t eat processed food, give up salt.
Monitor your own blood pressure etc... now what I want to tell you is you’ll need a juicer and you’ll need a blood pressure cuff so you might as well just go to the doctor and save you all that money. There’s no magic pill for this s*** you have to be an active participant.
The SAD (Standard American Diet) is not your friend. Plain Oatmeal in the morning will help with cholesteral, add non salted black beans for a boost. Drink lots of water throughout the day, eat lots of green leafy’s. Cabbage is your inexpensive friend.
Have you tried ZocDoc?
Many of them will be in your area and should offer online consultations. Your doctor has to be in your state to legally prescribe meds for you.
The problem is no doc is going to write you a scrip without checking you out
It would be unethical and could cost them their license
You had a doc that wrote the prescription. Why not see that one
