He is the only pharmacist in Congress. From day one he has been concerned with the opioid epidemic and the devastating effect it is having on America. At a local event I spoke to him and pointed out that a lot of Americans, including myself and my fellow vets, legitimately needed opioid painkillers and were having real difficulty getting them forcing some, not me, into obtaining them through unofficial channels.
He looked at me quietly for a moment and said, "You're right. I'll see what I can do." About three months later the rules suddenly changed and I have never had a problem since.

That’s all very nice but the income tax was a constitutional amendment. Congress can’t just legislate it away.
