I suspect that it was more a stick to beat Republicans with than anything else. (Did they refer Illhan Omar for marrying her brother to get into the country? No? Weren’t doing their job for some reason...)

Just because it was named Ethics Commission doesn’t make it ethical. In Texas the House Ethics Committee is where Dems and RHINOS go to hamstring opponents whether politicians or media or individual citizens. It is very swampy.

Still, let’s wait to see if the source is legit. Legit or not wouldn’t stop Yahoo from spreading a narrative.
