I just spoke to a lady on the phone (last night) in Cebu City. Yes, she is a Filipina. A Filipina from Cebu. Whoda thunk it? π€π€ͺπππ Actually, just get one of the Comm apps, like Viber, Whatβs App, Messenger, telegram, and you can talk over it. I am not 100% sure, but this might be what they call, VOIP, voice over internet protocol, or something like that. I do it all the time.

Just because she might live in Cebu City, doesn't mean she is Filipina. So, he confirmed she was in case anyone should wonder. π
And yes, it's called VOIP (Voice over Internet Protocol). π

we use messenger all the time to talk to our relatives from the Philippines to the USA.
It's the only reason I signed on to facebook was to use messenger.
