Wall Street Silver ·

Total debt: $31.4 trillion

Annual interest paid on debt: ~$1.2 trillion by 2024.

Annual tax revenue: $4.9 trillion

Annual Deficit: $1.4 trillion Loss Projected 2023 Deficit: Over $2 trillion

Maybe it is time to make a few changes before we run this into a brick wall?

Even if you tax every billionaire in America at 100%, it barely makes a dent in the national debt. In the end, the government will be forced to tax everyone to pay the debt.

Btw, $31T doesn’t include unfunded liabilities, which are *much* higher.

What will it take for the big spender politicians to realize they have to pay the interest on the debt regardless of the fact that there is no intention to pay off the debt, and we are no longer a wealthy country? The rest of the world knows this but continues to ask for and get our borrowed money as long as the drunken spending continues.
