What will it take for the big spender politicians to realize they have to pay the interest on the debt regardless of the fact that there is no intention to pay off the debt, and we are no longer a wealthy country? The rest of the world knows this but continues to ask for and get our borrowed money as long as the drunken spending continues.

Yes and I think that is the true reason for the Uke war. BRICS {Brazil, Russia, India, China, Syria, etc... going off the petro dollar threatens the US. The war only exacerbated the demise of the dollar and causes economic hardship in Europe.
