I just learned that today is Friday the 13th. BUT, y’all can relax. Especially compared to the beginning of the week, today has been a normal, uneventful day. I’ve been able to chat with colleagues, laugh a little, do some grief work, plant some wee small herbs in the outside beds, and pet my dogs. A colleague suffered a skull fracture earlier this week and was finally in a hospital in Singapore. He had a successful surgery with no complications and received a titanium plate in his skull.
All in all, it has been a good day. So, don’t indulge in triskaidekaphobia.
triskaidekaphobia: extreme superstition regarding the number thirteen.
Thanks—haven’t heard that word in years.
The Lord is in control of today, just like every other day.
Just another day for us!
Howdy, Jem!
I have never heard this word before, triskaidekaphobia.
Might be because I am not superstitious at all and Friday the 13th is just another day for me.
Who came up with the Friday the 13th nonsense anyway?
Glad things are getting better. Take care.
