My son finally pulled his kids out in their teen years - redecorated a spare room to a class room - desks, computers, bulletin and white boards.

First thing he noticed was all the “Drama” in his household was cut dramatically. Girls good grades remained steady. ...they loved learning this way and had closer relations with their teachers...always available. And son and his wife could always see what their kids were learning.

Son said pulling them out was the best decision he had made for his kids.

“Son said pulling them out was the best decision he had made for his kids.”

Great to hear, but you probably fit his ‘conspiratorial nutcase’ profile when you kept telling him to get his kids out of those schools.

And that’s what bites, for whatever reason, most people who do home school have to first experience their own ‘journey’ regarding the public schools, to be convinced that they’re destroying their kids by sending them there.
