Great to hear, but you probably fit his ‘conspiratorial nutcase’ profile when you kept telling him to get his kids out of those schools.
And that’s what bites, for whatever reason, most people who do home school have to first experience their own ‘journey’ regarding the public schools, to be convinced that they’re destroying their kids by sending them there.
Well he got fed up with the schools inability to control their students. Too many trips to school for his daughters being bullied and nothing done to the kids who were causing situations. And this in best school district they live in.
Parents need to understand it’s not just the brain washing...it’s the environment just as much. Kids have become highly manipulative in how they can ruin another student....and get away with doing so.
It’s said how much smarter students are today - but that also means their ability to create chaos and serious problems for others has increased as well...for teachers and for other students.
