Slightly off-topic, does anyone know why and when trans went from 0 to 60 overnight?

I mean, I heard about this on the periphery. But it seems, coming out of the pandemic, this became THE hill to die on for the left.

And it seems like it's a big thing-or maybe it's not and the reporting inflates the incidence.

Maybe it's because we homeschooled that I never saw this via school. But across all my friends and family and kids' activities I NEVER caught a whiff of this mania.

They’ve plenty to be ‘outraged’ over for the past several decades, but 90% still send their kids there (including far too many FReepers). At this point I’m convinced that all parents care about is the free daycare, and to rationalize it, they just consider our side to be conspiratorial nutcases.
