Absolutely. My son’s favorite donut is a bacon and maple glazed donut. Can’t say I blame him.

Oh, you just gave me a great idea for dessert! I have some chocolate made for melting and drizzling, so I could cover some bacon slices with it. Sounds pretty good to me!

I just finished my bacon and eggs breakfast. Sadly, I was distracted and let the bacon get extra-crispy and dark, ruining the flavor. On the other had, I still had crispy bacon and bacon grease to fry my eggs in, so it’s all good.

Yummy. That should go well with my chicken fried steak
and cream gravy, mashed taters on the side. Two of those, please.
LOL they'd deep fry any and everything at the Texas State
Fair. Fun to watch the crowd eating fried ice cream on a balmy October day. (It's not always THIS cold in Texas at this time of year.)

The bacon wrapped shrimp were quite excellent yesterday.
Tonight will be chicken bacon artichoke heart pizza with spinach and white sauce.
I had no idea we were celebrating anything tho, that's just how I roll.

Must be ingrained as I didn't see it on my calendar. Started the day by frying some hickory smoked bacon. Then in the bacon juice made pancakes then eggs over easy; served with plenty of butter and blue berry compote. Love this breakfast.
