Question for all: Are the AVERAGE women in your town as beautiful and as well-dressed as these average Dublin women?

There is a difference between city dwellers and country or rural communities - who are more relaxed in their choice of apparel.

I moved to rural small city and much more relaxed/causul here in choice of apparel. If you dress up it’s assumed you were at some event. Otherwise lots of jeans and casual wear. Less make-up and hair poofs.

They don’t eat as much fast food as Americans do. They also get more exercise.

I agree with the way they are dressed so nicely. Every year I look at the DailyMail's coverage of the horse races in England, where the once-demure Englishwomen dress so trashy, it's an international embarrassment. Same with their holiday weekends going to the pubs dressed like streetwalkers and rolling drunk on the sidewalks.

I guess there's still a remnant of Christian culture in Ireland; even in Dublin.

Definitely not ugly, but short of Mississippi standards where I grew up.
Obviously saying women from "X" are more beautiful than women from "Y" is a purely subjective statement. However there is an objective standard you can use (even if not "scientific") for the different states in the US - the number of Miss Americas per million population.
Here is a list of the number of Miss Americas by state per one million population. Seventeen states have not had one and are not on the list. Having lived in Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia, those numbers are a fair representation of the relative frequency of drop dead gorgeous women I've seen in those states.

I went to Ole Miss (University of Mississippi), which produced three Miss Americas from that one school alone. Yes, Ole Miss girls are that beautiful.

People here in general are not as well dressed as they used to be.

Went to one of the best restaurants in town last week - 80 dollar steaks - and this isn't east or west coast prices. 20 yrs ago it was suit and tie pretty much universally. Now it's jeans and baseball caps. Kinda surprised.

The standard of living in the United States today, is still much greater than European standards of living.

I had many business trips to mostly Western Europe over the years and on my first I took the weekend to see some sights. I was in Belgium and went to Ghent were I was walking around the city in the early evening and was in the confines of the cathedral (where the Ghent Alter Piece was located). It was an entire village within the walls and as I was walking there was a well-dressed young woman a few yards in front of me pushing a baby stroller. She stopped at one line of the old apartments (inside the cathedral wall) and went in, leaving the door open I looked into a TINY little place that was smaller than my first apartment.

I started to notice how small the living quarters were for nearly everybody, except for the more modern homes located outside of the cities.

Also, buying my meals was terribly expensive all over Europe and it was a relief to actually find a McDonalds. I know I got Per Diem and it always cover my food but not having to pay $35 or $40 for lunch was sure a treat.

Meh, Irish women are only attractive when put up next to English women.

For good looking European women, better to head east or south.
