“Where do you get Government Cheese these days?”
I haven’t had it in almost 40 years. My grandmother used to receive it monthly, I think. She would then give it to us grandchildren. I was especially grateful to have it because back then, I was hungry and poor.
You mean when mac and cheese staved off starvation. How m&c got to be a gourmet food...beats me.
