When I was a kid and one of us got a sty my Mother would take her wedding band and sterilize it, then rinse it.
She would then pull the eye lid down and rub the bottom of the band back and forth along the sty and that break it.
Old way to do it.
When I was a kid we got a sty and put some pigs in it.
