50 years ago Colonel Sanders KFC was so incredibly good I can still remember everything about it, including the gravy and mashed potatoes.
Today it’s a cruel joke in comparison.

Another great thing about Colonel Sanders was a Chicken Dinner meal (two pieces, Breast and leg, mashed potatoes and gravy, biscuit) was $1.25...This was late ‘60’s....

My grandparents and I had the to hear Colonel Sanders hold Court on his front porch when I was about 10 or so. He looked exactly as you’d expect. He was a kindly old man and I got to shake his hand.
And you’re right about the product today. It’s awful by comparison.

KFC is popular in Japan. My stepdaughter will go to a KFC on Friday evening for a New Year’s dinner.
Sanders sued Pepsi Corporation for what they did to his Original Recipe. He lost— but he made his point to generations after that KFC.... is NOT Colonel Sanders fried chicken. There are websites about this recipe which has been faithfully recreated by true chefs.
but before they changed how they cooked it, original recipe was just to die for......
why did they have to ruin it.....
