Yes. He was. The audit started in 2010. To my knowledge, it still isn’t complete. Before 2016 he said his taxes were being audited. That’s a statement of fact. Until an audit is complete, you are “under audit”.
Look, I like DeSantis. I am getting tired of Trump’s lack of focus on the future. But if crap like this is the best DeSantis supporters have, he’s dead in the water. Trump’s taxes have never been a winning issue for democrats. They certainly won’t be for DeSantis. Do better.
