I think a black robe would always be able to make the diversion this judge did, interpreting that even though he said he trusted the honest representations of a complaining witness of an election that was run significantly outside the law, he chooses to make the interpretation that it was not intentional and will thus add his imprimatur to confirm the earlier certification.
