At the end of November, a lot of people wondered whether the National Hockey League, one of the few pro-sports to stay out of the culture wars, had made a mistake when it decided to support a “Team Trans Draft Tournament.” The NHL may be wondering the same thing now that a man pretending to be a woman smashed a woman pretending to be a man, all of which was caught on camera, effectively putting the lie to transgender madness.(snip)
All of which gets us to what happened on the ice last month, a story that Jonathan Kay finally broke in Quillette last week and that got national prominence when the Daily Mail wrote it up this morning: A male hockey player pretending to be a woman smashed into a female hockey player pretending to be a man and…don’t let the story shock you too much…hurt her quite badly. Yes, the scientific reality that men are, on average, bigger, more muscular, and possessed of a denser bone structure than women, played out in real life in Middleton, Wisconsin.
According to Kay, the six teams were composed of randomly assigned men pretending to be women, women pretending to be men, and men and women pretending that they weren’t anything at all.(snip)
The biological men, says Kay, never deliberately bullied the biological women against whom they were playing. To which I would add, they didn’t have to. Biology took care of everything.
Eventually, a Black team player who is a woman pretending to be a man ended up in the path of a Pink team player who is a man describing himself as “a bisexual trans woman.” Mr. Pink quite literally crushed Miss Black.
What’s not funny is that the woman sustained a significant concussion.(snip)

A thought just occurred to me. What if you had a poorly-rated man who couldn’t qualify for the men’s team pretend to be a woman. Then that pretend woman pretends to be a man and, now a favored minority, gets a spot on the original mens team he could not originally quality for.
Perfect. So convoluted.

You can talk about how things with the game might have gotten a little bit out of hand during the 1970s era with the Broad Street Bullies and a few other incidents, but even that time seems to be a lot saner compared to now with Bettman and his virtue signaling.

From time to time the country seizes upon a delusion and becomes obsessed with it. The delusion replaces reality as millions of folks run to jump on the Bonkers Bandwagon as it careens off a high cliff.
Trans is the current insanity, sweeping the nation, leading millions to act irrationally, just so they can be part of the latest fad.
A hockey team in which the players are selected only because they are suffering from a trans delusion is the latest sign that there are butterflies flying around in the heads of decision makers. To get on the team, you have to think you can order all your chromosomes to change. So just by wishing it, all your Y chromosomes turn into X and one of your X turns into a Y.
Suck it up, buttercup. No sympathy from me.

The country has 258 million people over 18.
How many of those actually BELIEVE this nonsense? Or are we just the victims of a gigantic communist-led / academy-led nonsensical hoax?
Does this delusion seem bigger than it really is because of the amplification made possible by the internet?
What if a normal man announces to the world: “I’m a transgender man. I identify as a man.” Does he get the worship and adoration that people get when they announce that they are something they are not? Is it a requirement that you MUST identify as the sex that you are not? Why can’t you identify as the sex that you are?
The world has become so insane that there is no answer to this.
Stopped reading right there. Either the author hasn't watched an NHL game in years or is just an outright liar!
