What’s actually happening is that we, as a culture, are reverting to the days when only the aristocracy were well educated, and the rest of the merchants and peasants knew only what they needed to do their job. The idea of giving everyone a gentleman’s education has apparently been rejected.
William Shakespeare was not an aristocrat!!
He not only spoke good English, but he set the standard for what good English was!!!!
His English is now pretty antiquated, but we still can understand it, and his plays are still performed today!!!!
