>That’s common for me because as a natural redhead I have very sensitive skin. I even break out in a rash if I’m in the sun for too long.<
Your comments regarding redheads got me thinking, because one of my sisters and I lean toward blonde hair, but my other 2 sisters are red heads. I’ve had some heavy reactions to niacin when I first began using it and I’m now thinking about all of my extended family who have red hair. I even have a family branch whose name means “red”.
Oh well, the good things I’ve experienced are well worth the flush (no Covid and way lower bad cholesterol).
Everything breaks me out in a rash or a sunburned appearance. Makeup, sunscreen, the sun, antibiotic ointment, so it’s only natural in my experience that a hard flush would do the same thing. I’m going to try it again and start with low doses this winter when I don’t have to out in the hot summer to “cool off”. LOL I’m of Scottish ancestry and it was very obvious when I was younger. Even the Dermatologist surgeon that removed my last skin cancer said, “Let me guess, Scottish”? He said I have skin that should never see the sun.
