David Horowitz wrote about his migration from Marxist to conservative in his book “Radical Son.” The transition happened as a result of several episodes in his life. One dealt with AIDS and the homosexual community in San Francisco. Horowitz thought that closing the “bath houses” in the area would save lives. No one wanted to hear what he had to say.
Yes, I remember gays blaming Reagan also. Supposedly, a cure would be available if only Reagan pursued it. As I recall we had two terms of Clinton also without a cure.
We also had one term of Bush 1, two terms of Bush 2, two terms of 0bama, one term of Trump, and half a term of Gropin’ Joe.
