As we witnessed with the COVID-19 pandemic, the onset of the AIDS epidemic caused widespread panic. It was especially tragic in the early days when, like with the coronavirus, there were unanswered questions about the virus’s origin and the manner in which it could spread. Initial reports found nearly all who contracted AIDS were homosexual men, intravenous drug users, hemophiliacs, and Haitians. About 700,000 Americans have died from AIDS since the disease was first reported four decades ago.
In the early 1980s, there were sporadic reports about a serious flu-like illness affecting otherwise healthy, young gay men. There were also reports of young men dying from a rare form of cancer called Kaposi's sarcoma. A handful of doctors and researchers were trying to piece together what led to the illness. It was the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) that introduced to the general public the existence of the virus that eventually came to be known as AIDS.
In June 1981, the CDC published a column in its Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report reporting five young men had been treated in Los Angeles hospitals for Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia, an infection that usually afflicts immunosuppressed patients. Two of the five patients died. The CDC reported, “[t]he fact that these patients were all homosexuals suggests an association between some aspect of a homosexual lifestyle or disease acquired through sexual contact.”
The following month, The Bay Area Reporter, a newspaper serving the gay community in San Francisco, published a story about an illness, characterized by dry cough, fever and shortness of breath it called “Gay Men’s Pneumonia.”
That same July, the New York Times reported 41 homosexual men had been diagnosed with Kaposi’s sarcoma and that one doctor who had treated nine of the patients “found severe defects in their immunological systems.”

I have several bones to pick with this article. Not so much what is said, but what is not said.
High on my list of those to blame is the militant homosexual “community”.
They turned AIDS into the most political disease in the history of mankind. They pressured, successfully, the powers that be to push it as a heterosexual plague as well. In doing so they convinced most of the homosexuals that their sexual preferences were not responsible for spreading the disease. So they just kept on doing it.
I had a now deceased younger brother who was gay and back in the ‘80s and ‘90s he was convinced that Ronald Reagan had engineered this and then done nothing because he wanted to wipe out homosexuals. I wasted my breath trying to explain that militant gays were causing all these painful deaths by telling these people that nothing they were doing was the reason they were getting sick.
In my opinion most of the lies spread about AIDS were spread by the homosexual community and their liberal sock puppets.
I’ve got an interesting story of my experience with the Tampa Tribune on this subject back in the 90s. It’s quite enlightening as to who was doing all the lying. I won’t relate it here but if anybody responds to this post asking for what happened I’ll be glad to post the whole story.

For a decade of suppression of the homosexual male, they were more truthfully glorified by the media and themselves.
Basically, he was determined to get the research he was interested in funded. AIDS was peripherally relevant to it.
So AIDS funding was the vehicle he used to try and increase his funding. Therefore, any exaggeration, hyperbole and speculation were a useful tool to get it done!
Said it then, repeating it now. If you don’t want to catch AIDS, don’t share needles w/your druggie friends, and don’t have anal sex with people you don’t know very well.

Ad to the actual post. Dr. Mikovitch spoke and wrote extensively about Fauchi’s complexity in the spreading of AIDs due to his misinformation and outright lies. Of course, she was a “nut” and not to be listened to. The pattern is repeating.

David Horowitz wrote about his migration from Marxist to conservative in his book “Radical Son.” The transition happened as a result of several episodes in his life. One dealt with AIDS and the homosexual community in San Francisco. Horowitz thought that closing the “bath houses” in the area would save lives. No one wanted to hear what he had to say.
Yes, I remember gays blaming Reagan also. Supposedly, a cure would be available if only Reagan pursued it. As I recall we had two terms of Clinton also without a cure.

Fauci was a serious fear monger during the 80’s. “You can get aids from the dentist or for sitting on a toilet seat”. I remember all that and when covid came around I was watching the news and they kept talking about this disease expert named Fauci. About a month later, it clicked with me as to who this clown was. Didn’t listen to any of his crap after that.
Fauci is responsible for all those who died of Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia. It was discovered that an old geneic antibiotic helped with pneumocystis [which was invariably fatal] but Fauci forbade its use.
He pimped for AZT which was a highly toxic drug that failed for use in cancer treatment.
Fauci is responsible for all those who contracted AIDS from the blood supply and all those hemophiliacs who died from infected blood products.
The man is minimally a sociopath, likely a psychopath, and obviously well looked out for. 40 years after the AIDS debacle Fauci was still around for to fund GOF, and run the Covid fiasco.
