Move it to the light, give her a drink of water and some fertilizer and I’ll bet she takes right off!

I never move mine. She’s in a south-facing window, but with the shift/tilt of the Earth this time of year, the daylight is less bright, so it takes care of itself.

At my other farm, I did as you did and moved Christmas Cactus to the top of the fridge in the kitchen where they would be warm, but get less light for a while.

It’s just a matter of find what works and where they are happy in your home.
