Good question. And why did Harry stick his nose in our Pearl Harbor Day and expect to be treated like a visiting member of the working Royals? He has zero official standing in the UK. He does not represent the King. It must have awkward for the brass who had to deal with him.

If Prince William had visited, it would be a different story, as he would officially represent the Head of State, and as the British fought alongside us as allies in WWII, a visit from him honoring our servicemen and sacrifices would have made sense and been welcome.

And what’s with all these “surprise visits” he and his odious wife make, anyway? They’re always making these “surprise appearances” where they have not been invited.
