Her last movie "Girl in Room 13" was about human trafficking.
Details of her fiery car crash reminded me of Michael Hastings death-also strange.

Anyway may she Rest in Peace.
And she deserves much credit for trying to call attention to Human Trafficking with her last movie.
I agree but the bit of hurt I was referring to was stuff that couldn’t be replaced by a check. Personal things, keepsakes etc.
Coroner says Anne Heche wasn't under influence of drugs or alcohol when she crashed
which I found surprising.

Anne Heche was not impaired by alcohol or any substance at the time of her death, according to a new report from the L.A. County Medical Examiner-Coroner office that was reviewed Tuesday by The Times.
However, a blood sample drawn in the emergency room did show the presence of an inactive cocaine metabolite, the report said, indicating that the actor had used the drug in the days before her death.
Evidence of cannabinoids and benzodiazepine were found in a urine sample taken after she was admitted to the hospital, indicating that she had also used those drugs in recent days, but did not appear in the blood sample. Fentanyl was also present in the urine sample, but that was consistent with the drug being administered in the hospital for pain.

She died because she crushed her chest in the accident. That, combined w/ the smoke, meant that the brain was deprived of oxygen causing it to fail. The drugs make for clickbait headlines, but that wasn’t the major medical problem.
As a recovering alcoholic with 32 years sobriety it's only by the grace of God I never killed anyone driving bombed out of my skull.

This is interesting. Was she murdered because of the context of her last film about human trafficking. Once I would have dismissed this argument out of hand bit no more with the combination of K Street and organized Latin criminal gangs thst is today a significant element of the profoundly cottupt national political class.
Note comment 24. Was Heche in some way murdered as a warning to others not to highlight the human trafficking business heavily supported by K Street?

Heche was the architect of her own destruction.
I saw that. It was a crazy thing to watch.
I saw it. And EMTs have seen that reaction plenty of times. She already had suffered the damage that would soon kill her. She had been trapped in her burning car inside the house in a position where the responding firemen couldn’t see her. She was badly burned and had inhaled superheated air and gasses in her lungs for about half an hour.
I’m thinking that, if she wasn’t drunk or high at the time of her crash, maybe some other medical event happened while she was behind the wheel. She has been known to have psychotic breaks.
