Christensen, who had been the principal of Huntington Beach elementary schools for 22 years, took his own life Saturday.
The park had been open until midnight Saturday for the annual Candlelight Ceremony, which brings together hundreds of musicians, as well as Disney bigwigs, Theme Park Insider reported.
His death was two days before he was to appear in court on child endangerment and battery charges.
Police believe his death was a suicide, Anaheim police spokesperson Sgt. Shane Carringer told the Los Angeles Times, adding that the coroner’s office will determine the cause of death.
Christensen pleaded not guilty to the charges after his Nov. 15 arrest and was released on $10,000 bail. In a lengthy Facebook note, he blamed the “flawed” legal system for upending his life.
His attorney, Ruben Frias, declined to comment to the newspaper on Monday.

People are tooo lazy, or tired, or otherwise unable to create great experiences for their kids.
Disney has cache with impressionable children.
i’m soooo tired of this crap
Nobody goes there anymore, it’s too crowded.
Agree. He was at least a narcissist, if not into something darker.
Was he labeled a racist for tying a noose to a tree?
He wasn’t of a certain dark complexion so no ‘suspicions’ were raised - they didn’t cut him down until the coroner (death investigator) arrived to check it out & no ‘fouls’ were called, racist or otherwise.
I’ve known some folks who committed suicide.
The first one in HS. He was a kind of a different kid but nothing really so drastic as to kill himself over at least as far as school goes. I suspect it was family/home issues.
Put a .22 in his mouth on Easter Sunday. Took 3 days to die
The second one hung himself basically over his lifestyle that cost him his marriage and kids.
The 3rd one killed himself in his garage by carbon monoxide poisoning. When his wife came home, she opened the garage door, he was dead in the floor. He was a recovering alcoholic and had just married this gal (they lived right across the street). I figured he must have felt that he didn’t deserve this new chance at life.
I’ve known several people who took that route ‘out’ as well.
Currently, I know someone I’m concerned about - major medical issues piling up, he thinks his life “sucks”, very depressed. The person who hung himself in the front yard lived across the street & they were on speaking terms with each other - I can tell the neighbor’s suicide has him shaken up & even more depressed.
Just trying to abuse another kid or two on his way out.
Capt Kirk could have used that against VGER.
re facebook...yeah I ‘m on but rarely post...no pics...no food that I’m eating...nothing....I comment on a relatives post sometimes and I comment on our basketball team.....

I have to agree, having seen so-called educated women afflicted by "feminism" do horrendous things to the father of their children in divorce, aided by the courts who apparently still think of white females as fragile flowers. Meanwhile, the working class women and the women married to mentally ill and truly dangerous men get no justice and often end up dead, them or their children.
I am a woman of no color, but I simply can't deny the anti-white-male bias I have seen among the sad divorces of my acquaintances. One female's hysterical claim of "violence" to 911 while losing an argument and the hobnail boot of the law too often ruins a man's life. True of many undergraduate wymyn as well, messing around stupidly and then crying rape.
He might have realized to that even if he was eventually found innocent, he would likely never get his job back and his reputation would be forever tarnished.
Yes, all it takes is a false accusation to destroy a man's life. Once the accusation is lodged, you are forever looked at differently even if you are vindicated in the end (and usually after a lengthy and costly legal battle). People will always wonder about you and that can be hard to live with.
Women do not understand the horrible power they have to destroy a life with a false accusation in order to "get even" with somebody. Or maybe some of them do.
Drop the other shoe! Serial womanizing? Gay on the downlow? Gambling? Obessive porn habit? Massive credit card debt? Obesity? Habitual body odor? Always leaves the seat up?
Not a trekkie. What’s a VGER?
He jumped from the parking garage, so technically not *in* the park.
The one I was thinking of was from the TV series. They encountered a powerful entity named Nomad which had also launched from Earth and had merged with sentient machines to become a danger to mankind.
Kirk defeated Nomad with some circular logic like yours.
See what you're missing?
He intended to lay the ultimate guilt-trip at the wife’s feet. That much we know.
