This is exactly how my “country doctor” in West Texas told me about shingles (a virus).
You contract shingles from lazy hygienic habits.
Men especially should NEVER use one of those nylon-mesh “puffs” or washcloths when cleaning below the waist.
Cause we’re lazy by nature...first thing in the morning...eyes barely open...no coffee spike yet.
You get the idea.
He continued:
Soap is made up surfactants and dispersants.
The surfactants break up “dirt” into tiny particles and the dispersants allow them to be washed away (when all the soapy bubbles are gone).
If your hands or the “puff” is not thoroughly rinsed, you will contract shingles, carried by the “end product” of your immune system.
His last comment to me was...”keep your fingernails trimmed, they collect “dirt”.
