Police arrest European Parliament Vice-President Eva Kaili
Belgian police on Friday (December 9) arrested Greek socialist leader and one of the vice-presidents of European Parliament Eva Kaili in Brussels, said AFP quotings sources.
The reported arrest has taken place in connection with a corruption investigation involving FIFA World Cup hosts Qatar. Kaili’s arrest has come following detainment of four others.

U.S. Soccer confirmed the death of prominent soccer writer Grant Wahl on Friday night. Wahl, who for years chronicled the rise of the game for Sports Illustrated before moving to Substack, was covering the World Cup in Qatar.
Wahl attended the quarterfinal match between Argentina and the Netherlands in Lusail on Friday. He collapsed in his seat at the start of extra time before paramedics treated him for several minutes, said Washington Post reporter Steven Goff, who also was covering the match.

Today President Trump retruthed three truths by someone named TRUMP2023@Iabpravstc. The originals were posted in late October which indicates that Trump went out of his way to pick them.
One is the meme, the other two are videos. There is nothing markedly significant about the videos and meme, as there are many similar ones all over the place. What I consider important is Trump's choice of the name of the original poster, and the quote from the rally, below the last one.
