A FedEx driver confessed to abducting and killing 7-year-old Athena Strand after he delivered a package to her family's home, Wise County Sheriff Lane Akin said at a press conference Friday night.
Police found Strand's body southeast of Boyd, Texas. Digital evidence and interviews lead investigators to believe that Strand died within an hour of her abduction, according to Akin.

I worked at a pretty well known Child abuse prevention and treatment organization. I did pr, marketing, etc. The CEO was a wonderful man, who left as he thought the founders were on the wrong track. He told me things about Child predators that made me ill. The Kids are usually very pretty and the pedos look for them.

We have FedEx drivers like the ones you described too but for the most part we have drivers that are courteous and respectful.....but I’m not holding out hope that this will continue just like with this demon that killed that little girl......I mean did they even do a background on him??????
I saw that demon and just felt sick when I saw that beautiful child......prayers for her family.
Well, technically, he can still repent, can’t he? He probably won’t, but he can.
Technically, they might consider a regular delivery man as “someone you know.”
Somehow the killer’s stupidity only enrages me the more. The little girl’s life over, her family gutted, his life over, his family disgraced, for the briefest of gratifications, the most traceable of crimes.
Cunning or great gain would almost mitigate the offense. Wanton, wicked stupidity.
Just shoot him now. What a heinous crime.
In a just and fair country, his trial would start in 2-3 weeks time after Police have finished their investigation, and which would take about 3-4 days to complete.
And assuming he is guilty, he would be hanged immediately.
In America, the investigation and trial process will take 1-2 years. At which point, he may face death, which would then take several years to carry-out, or several decades in prison.
