I had a three car garage and only my garage would alert "Dixie" (my border collie) to my arrival and she'd bounce to the door very excitedly in anticipation of my arrival.

Once my wife drove my car and took it into that particular garage. Dixie was not happy. My wife was even unhappier. Not a good day. Both my wife and my dog gave me the cold shoulder.
