This is the first “died suddenly” with a cause of death attached in a long time.

If you have a bunch of spiders in your home, best not go to sleep.

He said: "Had he not been bitten by an invertebrate, possibly a spider, he would not have died at that time."

They said common household. I live in black widow/ hobo area. A little south of here it’s brown recluse. Allergies and infections can probably raise an ordinary spider to a new threat level. The infection is more likely the terminal threat. No treatment is pretty serious. I’ve been getting tetanus shots since I was a kid. Never let a scratch go untreated or ignored is my moto. I wish I could still get methylate. JMO

It was found to be a common house spider and the inquest heard an inspection by the maintenance team found no infestation.

If you look in keywords, at the bottom of the post, it says england (sic). I always look there first.

Sticky traps were laid out. It revealed that there was a normal number of insects in the house given the time of the year.

Okay. ...But what about spiders? Spiders aren't insects.

It is a common problem on FR. Postings often do not identify a U.S. state or country where the event took place.

I really hate the ones that only mention a county name.

My mom’s family came from the area 20 miles north of Hull. You should have contacted me and I would have told you where it is.
