I’d say they are on welfare, doing low income jobs and getting fired. Most live in public housing.
Churches and organizations give out free food.
WH tells GOP Jordan and Comer they will have resubmit document requests, saying it was illegal for them to submit them until the new Congress.
Thanks. I’m praying for both of them, that they are simply taking a break from news.
I’ve wanted to do that for years. Summers are so hot here, but much better dry heat than humidity where you are.
Amen!
I keep soda water on hand ror indigestion.
You did it again, I’m drinking out of that very coffee cup!

1) Ways/Means Chair Neal on release of Trump tax returns: Today, the weight of our job is heavy. Congress serves as a check on the Executive Branch, and our Committee is entrusted with oversight of our revenue system.
7:11 AM · Dec 30, 2022
2) Neal: For four years, the Committee has been reviewing how the IRS enforces the federal tax laws against, and ensures compliance by, a president. A president is no ordinary taxpayer...And with great power comes even greater responsibility.
3) Neal: We are only here today because four years ago, our request to learn more about the program under 6103 was denied. This was the first time that this key oversight function was hampered, and our Committee’s jurisdiction was challenged.
4) Neal: The Committee expected that these mandatory audits were being conducted promptly and in accordance with IRS policies. However, our review found that under the prior Administration the program was dormant.
5) Neal: We know now, the first mandatory audit was opened two years into his presidency. On the same day this Committee requested his returns.
6) Neal: We anticipated the IRS would expand the mandatory audit program to account for the complex nature of the former president’s financial situation yet found no evidence of that. This is a major failure of the IRS under the prior administration
7) Neal: But the evidence is clear. Congress must step in. I’ve proposed legislation to put the program above reproach. Ensuring IRS conducts yearly, timely examinations while publicly disclosing certain information.
8) Neal: Our work has always been to ensure our tax laws are administered fairly and without preference, because at times, even the power of a president can loom too large.
Amazing info.
And that happened in multiple states.
Over multiple elections!
I no longer welcome or have confidence in Congressional oversight.
I became a Freeper, officially, 24 years ago today.
Was a lurker from the Whitewater BB days, and went to the March for Justice on Oct. 31, 1998 in DC.

Wow. The segment of society that lives off others is just going to keep growing.
I guess when the world is going so crazy, the chances of meeting and dating a normal person, saving together to get married and buy a home, then start a family, would seem very much beyond reach to many today. When normal aspirations have been slowly removed from the picture, I understand just doing enough to survive.
Item #8: they are going to regret those words in the future.
Happy Anniversary!
And good morning to you.
I stumbled onto this from Tracy Beanz on TruthSocial, re: Ruby Freeman and Georgia and the 2020 election.
Imagine being Ruby and not being able to trust anybody with information you know.
The corruption is so vast.
Wisconsin.
Georgia.
Arizona.
Are the flood gates opening?
Good morning,LG and thank you!

Yes, I think they will be made to regret this travesty BIGLY!
Trump seems to be the only one to lose money while in office, at lease a billion $$.
The list of peoples taxes that I would like to see keeps growing, to name a few....

Just heard on Newsmax that unemployment compensation in some states is higher than average wages.
States like WA, MA, and NJ are paying out over $100,000 in UE benefits where $80,000 is average wage.
Red states pay less so people try to get back to work there.
You have got to be kidding! Unemployment at $100,000.00! That is crazy! No wonder nobody goes to work!
