More than 1.5 million people in the US are waiting for their asylum claims to be heard, as the Supreme Court weighs the merits of the Trump-era Title 42 health policy — and could order it ended as soon as Tuesday.
The number of pending asylum applications has exploded in the past decade, according to an analysis of federal data by the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse at Syracuse University, and fears have grown that lifting Title 42 could unleash a fresh surge of migration across the US-Mexico border
The number of asylum seekers — 1,565,966 — is split between the 767,882 waiting for hearings before judges in the Department of Justice's Immigration Courts and the 778,084 waiting for hearings before US Citizenship and Immigration Services in the Homeland Security Department, the analysis says.....

A new investigation from the Heritage Foundation exposes how Non-Governmental Organizations, known as NGOs, work with the federal government to relocated illegal immigrants from border towns to destinations across the country under the guise of “charity.”
“The Biden border crisis was sparked by the deliberate implementation of open-borders policies and the removal of Trump-era borders security policies by the Biden administration. While the Biden administration caused the crisis and allows it to persist, they are not the only party responsible for facilitating this crisis. Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) have played a substantial role in exacerbating the crisis by actively helping process and transport tens of thousands of illegal aliens into the interior of the United States,” a memo published by Heritage states.
“After observing this dynamic, the Heritage Oversight Project and Heritage Border Security and Immigration Center obtained and analyzed movement patterns of anonymized mobile devices that were detected on the premises of over 30 NGO facilities at or near the border. These locations were selected either based on public knowledge of these facilities being used to process illegal aliens or on reliable human source information. All physical locations were verified and physical location boundaries were defined to include building and parking areas to minimize false positives,” it continues

TORONTO — In an attempt to change with the times, toy and game manufacturer Hasbro has introduced a special edition of its popular game Operation. This new version of the game, available only in Canada, simply has players end the patient's life immediately.
“For sure, this is a much more relatable version of the game for consumers here in Canada, eh?” said Owen Hansen, Hasbro's Regional Operations Manager for Canada. “The way we figure, youngsters here in The Great White North don't really need to know much about performing life-saving operations, so we'll just have ‘em put the poor hoser out of his misery.”
As a part of the revision, there will no longer be any bones or body parts for players to remove from the patient with electronic tweezers. Instead, there will simply be one single slot in the patient's chest into which players will insert a knife. The only way to lose the game is to not end the patient's life within the allotted time.
“Yes, this is a much more true-to-life version of the game for kids here in Canada, unfortunately,” said author, psychologist, professor, and famous Canadian, Dr. Jordan B. Peterson. “But what are the long-term consequences of teaching children to end lives rather than attempt to save them? You think it's a harmless game, but it's not!”
At publishing time, Hasbro was hoping sales numbers for the new game would be high for the Christmas season, with preliminary plans to follow it up with a new Canadian version of the game Clue, in which players would simply move room to room through a mansion while performing euthanasia on other characters.
I understand that demonrats are very upset that illegals are being sent to their cities.
They think that they should ALL be kept in border states.
