Well, that does make sense to take something spicy. I still have my noodles out on the counter, intending to make soup one of these days. I’m feeling a lot better today, so I made our typical ham and scalloped potato dinner. So make your soup either tonight or tomorrow.
Glad you made it through the storm! What did you have to do, bring in lots of firewood? We only had one power outage, and tha was for one hour. Although we were warned we could have them.l anytime

The Vice President did indeed have the power to send Electoral Votes back to State Legislatures for reapproval despite the constant drum from Democrats and RINOS that he “ABSOLUTELY DID NOT.” BUT, they just put CLARIFYING language in the disgraceful “OMINOUS” BILL, making sure that A V.P. DOESN’T DO WHAT THEY ALL SAID COULD NOT BE DONE. So why the new language? Because it was just another political Con Job!

It might be a good idea not to make a lot of “cheesy/dairy” stuff while you have a cold, CB.
This soup works best when you have a cold, the sooner made and eaten, the better!
Yes we went through lots of firewood in order to maintain the heat level in the house.
We shut off the generator when we went to bed last night.
It was 55 in here this morning-outside temp was 14.
Hubby started the generator when he got up, and the house was warmed up in no time to 68.
The power was out from late afternoon on the 23rd, to 1:15 this afternoon.
With the power back on and the furnace running it is 71.6 in here, and 21 outside.

I meant to add that I cut up an onion and chop it to medium size, and also add a few cloves of garlic minced.
Always add your tomatoes LAST, and do not boil them!
Let them simmer, okay?
You will end up with a pink, frothy mess, and it will give the tomatoes a funky sharp taste. so again, do not boil them!

OK, I’ll just some of the tomatoes. I’m glad you clarified that because I probably would’ve let them boil. This wolf is crazy powerful, I can boil things in no time flat. I’ll definitely add the garlic and onions, those do something, I think they are anti-inflammatory?
55 is nippy for inside, I’m glad it didn’t last very long. That is a long power outage!
Ours only went out for about an hour. I was sleeping in, so I didn’t even notice.

So we had our Christmas dinner....it was good. My son and his girlfriend came over with their little one.....and lo and behold.....she is sporting a nice new diamond ring!
He got the order completely wrong, but I’m glad they’re finally tying the knot! That was a nice Christmas surprise!
