I do not get really disturbed easily. Well, the kids are important. Trust me though, I have seen things that most have not. Perhaps in War, or in Police activity, but the stuff that comes into those trauma rooms after First Responders shovel them up off the streets or wherever can be quite unsettling. I adjusted to that a long time ago

I have seen torsos with no blood in the thoracic cavity. This means that the life sustaining blood has pooled somewhere insuring death for the Patient. The actual color of hearts, lungs, and other organs is different, certainly from what I expected.

Just saying that life, family, love, and faith are important in this world. We all have weighty obligations when it comes to posterity, but as well, to our neighbors. I have seen a lot. I admittedly am baffled by human nature. But I won't bury my head in the sand.
